Esoteric Web
pen and ink
This is one of my favorites. The detail in this is incredible (if I do say so myself!). There are dozens of worm type things slithering around in the person on the lefts' box, or coffin. It took me hours to draw and I loved it!
The idea that inspired this was the sort of "underground community", or "esoteric web". All of the strange, dark beings connected through their similiarities, flesh, ideas, and interests. From life until death. ![]()

A few years ago I went to Frank Frazetta's Museum in Pennsylvania while on the way to New York. While I was there I had the pleasure of speaking to his wife Ellie for a few minutes. I mentioned I was an artist and she asked to see my work ( I just happened to have my portfolio with me, you should always carry at least a mini portfolio with you if you are an artist). When she got to this particular illustration she paused for a minute and then said to the effect of "They do that you know, they eat you. That's why I don't want to be buried. The worms really eat you." That made me laugh a little.
